When Parade’s Re:Play collection went viral, I literally couldn’t escape it on my Instagram feed (especially on REAL, un-retouched people, which was major). I’ve been patiently waiting for my size to come back in stock to give it a try. The day has finally come to see what the hype is for myself. Is it really as comfy as everyone says?

First impressions

I had high hopes for Parade because everyone kept raving about how soft Re:Play was. I’ve been severely disappointed in the past by underwear brands who promised soft intimates and gave me lacy, uncomfortable, and thin pieces instead that could not stand up to my busy lifestyle. The Re:Play stans were right. The fabric is very different from underwear brands I’ve tried before. The material felt insanely soft and and I was super intrigued by the lightweight mesh panels. I would compare it to high-quality athleisure material that you can still breathe in. The softness was enough to get me excited, but I needed to see how they would last me throughout the day. I always opt for underwear that’s supportive and long-lasting, so I put Re:Play to the test.

The Re:Play line is supportive and comfortable

I was naturally skeptical that the underwear would be comfortable and support my body in the ways it’s supposed to. When trying the Re:Play collection, I wanted to get the whole experience: Trying different styles from basics to intimates. I now get what all the hype is about.

Re:Play caters to a range of body types, including my own. It’s one of the few underwear brands that I can find in my size, 3XL, and it truly fits my body.

The triangle and scoop bralettes are super flattering and versatile.

As someone WFH who likely spends more time working from my couch than at a desk, I was excited to see if the bralettes would be supportive and comfortable the entire time. The triangle bralette accentuated my chest and still held everything in place with just the right amount of support. It’s flattering and incredibly comfortable. I could wear it by itself or under a t-shirt. The scoop bralette was just the right amount of coverage. I loved the semi-sporty design, but I still had freedom to move. It can be paired with sweatpants, layered under clothes, or even worn to bed (my personal fav.) A nice touch was the adjustable straps for both styles. I felt like I could move around without the risk of the bralettes slipping.

Re:Play’s underwear styles are supportive and inclusive.

Thong hater? That was totally me. You can be flirty and cute without wearing skimpy styles. It was a breath of fresh air to see that Re:Play offered briefs and boyshorts for varying vibes and layering under a range of outfits, as well as the classic thong style.

The high-rise brief was my personal favorite. It had just the right amount of stomach support that made me feel confident all day without giving that uncomfortable shapewear feeling. The boyshort option was a close second. I love to wear them under an oversized shirt to do some chores around the house. The thong style was comfortable and I barely noticed the difference between wearing a thong and a brief. By the end of the day I actually forgot I was wearing a thong.

With the blend of soft fabrics and inclusive sizing, I feel like I found underwear that really celebrates me and women who look like me.

Re:Play is not your “basic” basics collection

Part of the allure of Re:Play’s original release was the bright red pieces (called Balloon). It’s back with the restock, so I felt it was only right to try.

I loved the boldness of the original colors, Balloon and Eightball. The restock also includes new neutral colors if you want a more minimal approach. I’m tired of basics just being in neutrals, but Re:Play elevates classic silhouettes with versatile neutrals that are not just boring browns. The neutrals come in blushing rose, crown blue, and premium plum.

The Re:Play bodysuit is a good wardrobe staple of the collection. It can be worn as a base layer or styled as a part of an outfit. From the bralettes to the bodysuits, I was impressed by the variety of styles to choose from.

Re:Play is recycled

A lot of the hype around the Re:Play restock was also its attention to being eco-conscious. After learning that the fabric in this collection was made from recycled materials, I became interested in learning more about Parade’s clothes. Parade took post-consumer waste that would otherwise be thrown out and created ultra soft yarns. Parade also donates its samples to shelters around the U.S. to help slow down the cycle of fashion waste and give pieces to people who really need it.

The Re:Play collection has great reviews

I’m a big believer in reading the reviews before ordering, and Re:Play’s are so good – the comments and reviews are honestly what ultimately pushed me to look into the collection. They’re part of what inspired Parade to restock the line in the first place.

Re:Play has over 46,000 5-star reviews for its comfort and fit.

Bottom line

I finally know what the hype is all about. The Re:Play collection is soft and I feel comfortable wearing it all day. I see myself in the styles and sizes to choose from — it’s curated for a diverse range of body types and people. My size fit accurately and was flattering for my body type. Which is a dream when it comes to underwear.

I also love how the restock added new colors to the super popular original designs. I’d definitely recommend giving the Re:Play collection a try before it sells out again.
